– Hundreds of people take part Walk for Life programme, organized by the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club

– It is a programme that seeks to promote Tennis and engaging in activities geared towards enhancing wellness, healthy lifestyle and striking a work-life balance

Scores of people took to the street on Saturday, June 7, as the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club recently held the 2nd edition of its WALK FOR LIFE program.

The program seeks to promote Tennis and engaging in activities geared towards enhancing wellness, healthy lifestyle and striking a work-life balance.

Exco members of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club in the company of the Special Adviser (Sports and Chairman Lagos State Sports Council), Ayodeji Tinubu on the walk to raise awareness for the need for individuals to focus more attention on a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

The procession was an all inclusive event and had representatives from other recreation and sports clubs in the region. The point of convergence and take off was the LLTC car park directly opposite the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) BRT Bus Terminal Onikan Lagos and proceeded through Outer Marina – Bonny Camp – Ozumba Mbadiwe – Law School to the Interchange Bridge on Awolowo Road Ikoyi and then back to LLTC.

Upon return from the WALK, there was light Aerobics at the center Court which was used to launch the club’s Aerobics program which is intended  to be a regular part of the club’s activities.
