By Adeboye Amosu:

Wikki Tourists will hope to maintain top spot in the Nigeria Professional Football League when they travel to Owerri where they will face hosts Heartland in a matchday 22 fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Abdu Maikaba’s men who top the table with 37 points are without defeat in their last four games and must avoid defeat in this game to ward off the challenge of second and third placed sides, Rangers and Rivers United, who have 35 points each and prevent them from ursurping them at the top of the log.
Rangers, buoyed by their midweek win against Kano Pillars, face a tricky away fixture against Plateau United at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos.
The Flying Antelopes are without defeat in their last three games, while the home side who occupy the 17th position in the table have won four out of 20 games this season.
Rivers United will host MFM FC at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Defeats for Wikki and Rangers and a win for the Pride of Rivers will see them climb to the top of the table.
The biggest game of the weekend will be in Ibadan between Shooting Stars and Enyimba.
3SC won their first game under returning head coach Gbenga Ogunbote 3-0 against Akwa United last weekend but were handed a 3-1 defeat by Lobi Stars in midweek.
Champions Enyimba who were held to a barren draw by Rivers United in Umuahia on Thursday are without a win in their last three games.
At the Sani Abacha Stadium, fourth-placed Kano Pillars will seek to keep pace with the front runners when they do battle with Warri Wolves.
In Akure, Sunshine Stars will host Lobi Stars. The hosts who sit in the eighth position with 29 points have won two and drawn two of their last four games, while the visitors have won two and tasted defeat twice in their last four matches.
In other games also billed to take place across different centres on Sunday, Nasarawa United who are battling hard to escape the drop will welcome FC IfeanyiUbah at their makeshift home ground in Makurdi, while bottom placed Ikorodu United entertain Akwa United at the Onikan Stadium.
In Saturday’s only match, it is a battle of Warriors as El-Kanemi welcome Abia to Maiduguri.
