By James Agberebi:
Former Super Eagles coach Adegboye Onigbinde has expressed shock following the sudden death of Nigeria Football Federation Technical Director Amodu Shuaibu.
Amodu, 58, whose death was confirmed by the NFF, was said to have complained of chest pains on Friday night, and died in his sleep.
His death comes just three days after his former colleague Stephen Keshi passed on.
Speaking with Completesportsnigeria.com, former FIFA and CAF instructor Onigbinde said: "Right now I'm confused, I don't know what to say."
During his coaching career, Amodu led BCC Lions of Gboko to a shock CAF Cup Winners Cup triumph in 1990.
As senior national team coach, he helped qualify the Super Eagles for the Korea/Japan 2002 and South Africa 2010 World Cups but did not attend any of the two.
He also led the Eagles to two Africa Cup of Nations in Mali 2002 and Angola 2010, finishing third on both occasions.
